Scenic Hill Elementary PTA is a group of parents, school staff and community members with the common goal of seeing that our kids have a safe, positive and successful education.  Our goal in 2011-2012 is to have fun while we work together to enrich the education of every student.  PTA supports music programs, art education, physical fitness and reading programs.  Our fundraising and volunteer efforts combine to enrich the school and learning experience of our children.  
 
Together we can help our students be College Bound as their potential becomes reality!
  
 
McTeacher Night!

4:30-7:00 p.m.
at the McDonald's across from KM High School
 (10125 23 256th St.) 
 

Join with other students and famlies at the McDonald’s across from Kent Meridian High School and have dinner and support Scenic Hill! There will be teachers working behind the counter, at the drive-thru and out in the dining area.

McDonalds will be donating a percentage of all the sales that occur between 4:30 and 7 p.m. to our school.

Invite your friends and extended family too! Facebook, twitter or email it – let’s get the word out!

Do you have kids in Choir or Steel Drums? Have a fast and easy meal on your way to the Fiesta in the Valley concert!

Membership in the PTA is renewed each school year.  Your membership says that you believe in the work we do to support the students of Scenic Hill and build a fun and enriching environment for the whole family.  It is not just about volunteering or attending meetings, it is about building a diverse community that values education and works together to make a difference.  Please consider becoming a member today.  You can download a membership form here.  Join us and let's have fun together!

3/25/2012:  We have a new website! 
 

Please bookmark www.scenichillpta.org as our permanent website address.  A change with our hosting provider led to the name change.  After 4/30/2012, this site at officelive.com will no longer be active.  

 

2/12/2012:  Many Fun Events Planned for 2012!
 
It is hard to believe that the school year is already half over.  It seems like PTA is just gearing up with many great activities and events to come.  We are working hard to get the following events scheduled over the next couple of months:  Family Game Night - we had to cancel our original event when the snow and ice decided to make an extended stay in our area!  We are hoping to reschedule it in early March.  Science Fair will be coming up in mid April.  Band Aid for Books will be back at the end of April and our Spring Carnival and Auction will be on June 9, 2012.  Stay tuned for more details on all these fun events. 
 
2/1/2012:  Looking for Nominees for Executive Board Positions for the 2012-13 school year.
 

The PTA is governed by an executive board made up of a president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer. These positions are open to all PTA members who would like to run for office each year, with elections held in the spring for the coming school year.  The Nominating Committee will be looking for initerested candidates over the next few months.  If you are interested in being on the PTA Executive Committee, you can start by sending us an email indicating your interest.  Feel free to ask any questions as well.  Email us at:

9/20/2011:  Welcome to the New School Year!
 
With a beautiful new cafeteria and many other updates around our school, we are looking forward to putting together some great events this year.  There will be many opportunities for you to be involved so please jump right in and sign up!  YOU tells us how much time you can commit to and we pledge to honor that.
